Paisaje adentro / Inner landscape

Paisaje adentro es una serie de fotografías; una instalación sonora concebida junto al sonidista Rafael Álvarez (Piel en continuum) y una obra audiovisual (Canto 1- soul) con Enrique Hernández.

La serie de fotografías que da el título a esta muestra trata sobre un momento de recogimiento y detención a través del desnudo. El cuerpo desnudo como manifestación sincera, desarmada y expuesta del ser.

“Un estado de extrañeza nos afecta, nos detenemos, por un instante palpamos lo que podría ser una sensación de vacío. Un momento de desintegración. Un instante en el que el ser interior y lo exterior al ser se confunden.

En esa breve fracción de tiempo mi ser femenino se observa y encuentra un extraño, el ser masculino que habita en mi. Un ser hasta ahora impensado que ha venido a completar mi humanidad. Un ser en permanente lucha por existir.

Me encuentro entonces reproduciéndome en múltiples hombres desde la mirada lejana de una mujer.”

Inner landscape is an installation produced together with sound technician Rafaes Álvarez  (Skin in continuum), and an audiovisual performance (Song 1-soul).

The series of photos that give the exhibition its name is about coming to a halt for inner composure in nakedness; the nude body as a manifestation of the human being, frank, exposed and disarmed.

“We are overcome by amazement, we hesitate: we perceive a state of emptiness. An instant of disintegration, our inner self mingling with what is outside.

In this fraction of time, my feminine self looks at itself and discovers something foreign: the masculine creature living in me. A being, until now overlooked, who has come to complete me as a human being. One who wages a constant battle to exist.

From the distant standpoint of a woman, I see myself being reproduced in a number of men.”
